Something different - Part 2
So - the purple Angelica from my last post has been flowering for several weeks now. The large unusual-looking buds opening to large umbels of individual flowers.
They make a statement in the new central bed.
In varying shades of purple, some light, some dark
Hydrangea paniculata "pink Diamond" also in the new bed. This came from our Surrey garden in a pot and was planted in the shade here under an ash tree - where it did not thrive. Probably too dry for it. I moved it a year ago and it has, for the first time, put on a good show alongside the angelica.
Also doing well having been moved into this new bed - Geranium "Dragon Heart"
Geranium "Rosanne" has been flowering for weeks.
